Home Health Care is a broadly used medical service meant to lower health care costs for both long and short term patient rehabilitation. An employee from the home health care agency will come to the patient's home to provide the necessary medical follow-up care, or ongoing rehabilitation treatment, on site. For some elderly patients, even hygiene assistance in the safety of the home is available from home health care.
