What is Syllabub?

Syllabub — A delicious old English dessert made with whipped cream, sherry or white wine and sugar, often infused with lemon. Syllabub dates back to the time of Elizabeth I. It should be served well chilled and can be decorated with finely chopped nuts and served with some small crisp tuile biscuits.
