What is Legal Terms - Reasonable Accommodation?

Reasonable Accommodation information: In discrimination cases involving the handicapped, a reasonable accommodation consists of measures taken by an employer to allow for, or adapt and adjust a workplace or public place, to the particular hardship faced by the handicapped person. The term also applies to reasonable accommodations made to allow for, or to eliminate a hardship posed against, an employee's religious need. The law does not require the reasonable accommodation to impose an undue hardship on the employer.
