What is Forensics?

Forensics, or Forensic Science, is an increasingly popular field of law enforcement science. This may be due to the several CSI crime scene investigation television programs that are being broadcast. Forensic science deals primarily with legal evidence relating to crime scene analysis, firearms and ballistics. Blood spatter pattern is also involved. Forensic Accountants are used in cases of white collar crime. A computer may be searched for evidence forensically. Forensic pathology, or forensic medicine, is involved in finding usable legal evidence from the victim's body or the condition of the body.
