Holder In Due Course information — The name of the person that has given value, in good faith, in exchange for the possession, legally, of a negotiable instrument, otherwise complete and regular on its face, and who is therefore entitled to receive payment thereon. You cannot be a Holder In Due Course if the instrument has been dishonored, or if you have notice that there are defenses to payment.
