What is THX?

THX — THX is an enhancement, engineered by Lucasfilm Ltd., of a Dolby® Pro Logic® scheme. A THX system must have identical main and centre speakers, special dipolar surround speakers, at least one subwoofer, a special amount of power and a special surround sound processor.
